I finished watching Ozarks recently on Netflix and was blown away with the story they portrayed. I think overall when it comes to original content, Netflix is leading the charge. I do hope that it's good though, if anything just for the fans of the series.

It's cool that Amazon is doing a series but Fallout hasn't been very interesting since New Vegas and with the vision they've put forth with Fallout 76 I don't have much confidence in the show being more than conveyor belt content akin to the Disney Plus Marvel shows or the Halo show. Can't wait for the next one to drop in the fall/winter.Īs far as Fallout is concerned, Fallout 4 kinda pushed me away from the series and then 76 was the nail in the coffin. I don't know jack about cars but I love the travel specials those guys put out. Otherwise the only Amazon series I've enjoyed (and will continue to stick with) is The Grand Tour. I've heard good things about Reacher, The Terminal List, and their Jack Ryan series but those honestly don't have a ton of appeal for me. I don't mind who it was going after but it just felt very lazy, derivative, and forced. The latter half of season 2 and what I watched of season 3 is when the satire in the show jumped the shark and felt like it was just repeating the same talking points found everywhere else in entertainment. I really liked the first 1.5 seasons of The Boys and thought they were pretty fair across the board with their satire (and a lot of it was really smartly written). I'm going to give Amazon's scripted series one more chance with Invincible, I've enjoyed the comics and heard good things about the series.
